Cellenis® Platelet Rich Plasma
Platelet-rich-plasma, PRP, is a natural treatment that is derived from your blood. Plasma is the liquid component of your blood that allows your cells to flow through your blood vessels and is rich in proteins and growth factors.
This amazing technology increases the skin’s supply of nourishing blood, stimulate oil glands which are drying, stimulate new fibrocytes to produce more skin firming collagen, and stimulate growth of new skin cells to thicken and smooth the skin.
Provides immediate volume with long-term skin health benefits.
Cellenis Derma PRP is harvested from your own blood through an easy and simple procedure. A small blood sample is collected from you by your provider. The unique, patented, and proprietary process allows the proteins in the blood to be restructured in a more densely organized scaffolding network to help support soft tissue and provide an immediate volumizing effect.
Studies show that the increased concentration of growth factors in platelet-rich plasma may stimulate the body’s own properties to induce healing and tissue regeneration.

Give your skin a healthy, refreshed-looking, younger glow.
Cellenis Derma PRP creates a natural scaffolding to support soft tissue in your skin.
Over the days and weeks following the Cellenis® PRP treatment, growth factors released by the platelets stimulate the growth of new blood vessels and more collagen growth, thickening the epidermis and providing an improvement in the skin’s texture and tone.
Does it Hurt?
Depending on your comfort level, numbing may be required and topical anesthesia can be applied prior to beginning the treatment.

Cellenis® PRP FAQs
HOW MUCH PPP SHOULD I REMOVE TO HEAT?
In an 11ml Derma PRP patient kit, ~4.5ml of PPP should be removed from the upper plasma fraction. This will then be further processed from an 11ml tube. In an 22ml Derma PRP patient kit, ~9ml of PPP should be removed from the upper plasma fraction. This will then be further processed from an 22ml tube. After we process the PRP, we draw and process the PPP. Once completely processed, the final mixture can stand at room temperature up to 4 hours prior to use.
WHAT IS THE CONSISTENCY OF CELLENIS DERMA PRP?
While Cellenis PRP keeps its original liquid state, Cellenis Derma PRP has a paste-like, semi-solid state.
HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO LET IT COOL DOWN?
8-10 minutes in a freezer (-15 to -20 degrees Celsius). Allow to cool until below 40C.
HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO TREAT THE PATIENT AFTER THE CELLENIS DERMA PRP PREPARATION PROCESS?
Before mixing the processed PPP with the PRP, the components can standby for 4 hours at room temperature without losing their biological properties. Mixing the already processed PPP and the PRP should be done right before use.
DO I NEED A TOOL TO KNOW WHEN IT IS COLD ENOUGH TO BE MIXED?
No, after 8-10 minutes in a freezer it will reach body temperature. The mixture is then ready for further processing.
CAN I MAKE THE FINAL PRODUCT LESS THICK?
Yes, by removing and processing less PPP, more liquid PRP will remain to be later mixed, therefore the final product will contain more PRP and be less viscous.
CAN I USE LARGER SYRINGES THAN A 1ML FOR INJECTION (EX: 2.5ML, 5ML ETC.)?
1ml syringes are recommended in order to have better control of product placement, 2.5ml syringes can be used under the risk of the need to apply higher forces to extrude the product. Larger syringes cannot be used.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES A CELLENIS DERMA PRP TREATMENT TAKE?
Cellenis Derma PRP requires ~30 min for the blood draw to injection.
WHAT IS THE PLATELET CONCENTRATION OF CELLENIS DERMA PRP?
Cellenis Derma PRP platelet concentration varies between 1.5X to 2X when the entire plasma fraction is used, keeping regenerative effects while acting as a volumizer in areas that need it. Cellenis PRP concentration varies between 1.5X up to 8X depending on the PPP volume removed before re-suspending platelets in the plasma, becoming optimal to use where more regeneration is required than dermal volume. From an 11ml tube, the platelet count is ~2.5 billion platelets per dose. A 22ml tube will offer ~5 billion platelets per dose. (Sasaki & Juntendo)
WHAT IS THE YIELD OF CELLENIS DERMA PRP FROM ONE TUBE?
Typically, one 11ml tube can produce about 6-8, 1cc vials of Cellenis Derma PRP that are ready to use. One 22ml tube can produce about 10-12, 1cc vials of Cellenis Derma PRP that are ready to use.
IN WHAT TISSUE LAYER SHOULD CELLENIS DERMA PRP BE PLACED?
Cellenis Derma PRP properties allow it to be placed in any tissue layer including intra-dermal, subcutaneous, supra-periosteal.
